I began showing Rottweiler’s in the conformation ring in the 1980s. When I finished earning the conformation championship on one of our males I decided I wanted to do more with him than just conformation. I began training a couple of our Rotts in obedience classes and I was hooked. I finished my first Champion Utility dog in 1991. I continued to train and title many Rottweiler’s in the performance and conformation rings. My love for the obedience ring led me to pursue judging. I began judging for AKC in 2001 and have loved every minute.
I am currently training a 2 year old Rottweiler and a 3 year old French Bulldog in both conformation and obedience venues. I have competed in Conformation, obedience, rally, agility, herding with our Rottweilers. I have been retired for several years now and have more time to judge and have truly loved seeing and judging the dog and handler teams. I am currently involved with multiple obedience and conformation clubs. I served as the AKC delegate for the Washington State Obedience Training Club for 3 years
