Friday, October 25, 2024. A Night At The Races:
The Sussex Spaniel Top Sussex A Night At The Races is a gathering of enthusiasts from all across the country to celebrate the previous year’s achievements for the 2023 Sussex Spaniel stars. These dogs have shown they are the most consistently winning Sussex Spaniels for the previous calendar year.
Invitations will be sent to all top ten owners according to AKC’s Top Ten listing in Breed and All-Breed for 2023.
One of the following qualifications must be met to compete:
❖ Identified by AKC in Breed Top Ten for 2023
❖ Identified by AKC in All-Breed Top Ten for 2023
❖ Won an All-Breed Best in Show in 2023
❖ Won Sussex Spaniel National Specialty within 10 years
Dogs entered will be judged by a panel of three individuals: an AKC judge, a breeder, and a handler. One dog will be awarded the winner of the Top Ten competition. In addition, the audience will select a People’s Choice Award.
All SSCA members are encouraged to attend to celebrate the successes of our 2023 stars.
